ADSORBENTS & RESINS

Adsorbent resins are the designable macro-porous polymer adsorbents usually used in plant extraction, pharmaceutical purification, juice decolorization, organic wastewater treatment, and organic VOC gas treatment.

Activated carbon removes pollutants from water by physical adsorption, chemical adsorption, and ion exchange adsorption. In addition, it demonstrates excellent gas adsorption characteristics. The macro-porous adsorbent is a kind of high molecular polymer, which combines the principles of adsorption and molecular sieving to concentrate and separate organic substances. The macro-porous adsorbent is prepared by suspension polymerization. Its physiochemical properties are stable and insoluble in acids, bases, and organic solvents. Its porogen skeleton and polarity could have been designed to meet all kinds of separation requirements. The macro-porous adsorbent selectively adsorbs organic substances from the solution by physical adsorption, thereby achieving the purpose of separation and purification.

It has good selectivity to organic matter, is not affected by the presence of inorganic salts & strong ions & low molecular compounds & can be adsorbed by swelling in water & organic solvents. For target object separation, molecular polarity has to be examine molecular size.
